Robert Chuter - Artistic Director MelBorn 08

Robert Chuter, of Fly on the Wall fame, has been appointed as our Artistic Director for MeBorn 2008. Robert joins MWT with a wealth of theatrical knowledge having worked at the helm of both theatre and film productions locally and internationally. He has been the recipient of the Green Room Award for Best Production, the Premiere’s Literary Award for Drama and is the AAV Australia Award Winner for Best Film Production for his film The Mortal Coil.

In recent years Robert has visited Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt and the United Kingdom with a view to presenting new concepts for openair/ site specific theatre which he has evolved nationally in Australia. Robert will be ably assisted by Marc Opitz.
